Day 1 Santiago, Chile

Oh my goodness has this been the longest Thursday of our lives ....

We are trying to work out how long it really was but with limited brain function at this stage it is nigh on an impossible task.

We are in Santiago. 

Immediately in tourist/ traveller mode and hopped on a bus heading into the city centre.

First impressions:

Beautiful old buildings, lots destroyed with market shops underneath.

Loads of poverty( make shift tents in city squares, albeit pretty impressive in their construction )

Lots of graffiti/ street art....

Locals were very accepting of the weary tourists who had no idea.

Trying to stay up, tanks empty. Time to crash.
