Day 5 Atacama desert

Our last day in the Atacama desert 😕 a slow start to the day breakfast , clothes washing, you know,  usual stuff ... 

we went to an old village about 10km outside San Pedro, called Aldea de tulor. 

Well not so much of a village as an archeological site. Apparent dates back to nearly 380 BC until around 1000AD. The buildings are, or were round, made of mud and straw. Not to dissimilar to many building around San Pedro today. Must have been a very tough existence.

The afternoon consisted of mainly resting; after all it is a holiday!
